How many troops do we still have in Germany? Okinawa? Elsewhere around the world?

I've never understood this argument. Not as a justification for keeping troops in a nation that we never should have attacked and been at war with in the first place, nor as a standard for keeping troops in countries which we were rightly at war with.
Sixty-five years of constellating our war machine into countries that are now our allies and partners is ins@ne policy and something we can't afford -- Not monetarily and not as a matter of strategy.
These bases all need to be closed up and the troops brought home.
