Democratic House Candidates Received More Votes Than Republicans


many running for re-election were forced to distance themselves from the President because of positions they'd previously taken, i.e. Obamacare.

That doesn't even make sense on its face.

If they wanted to distance themselves from Obama, they wouldn't be complaining about him.

Democratic House Candidates Received More Votes Than Republicans


It is a fact that Obama did only one robocall for a Democrat and that was for Tammy Duckworth (and she was a candidate, not an incumbent).

It is also a fact that the House passed ACA with a vote of 219 to 212, with 34 Democrats and all 178 Republicans voting against it.  All members of the Progressive Caucus (81) voted yea for it.
